A Personal Note from Dr. Fissel
In 2016, after 35 years of practice, I will begin to reduce my working hours. I have no intention of retiring soon, but I need a better balance with my personal time.
I feel comfortable doing this now because we have finally found a doctor whom I feel has the unique personality and ability to provide you the same individualized care that we provide at Eye Central.
She is Dr. Ann Martin who recently moved to the area from Nebraska. Even before she began with us on January 19, there were two unbelievable “karmic” experiences that confirmed that she is the one! I know you will be as comfortable and confident with her as you have been with me.
In addition, we now have the most caring and competent staff that has ever been at Eye Central. I feel very confident allowing them to assist you with many of your needs that only I have done in the past.
I cannot express the heartfelt thanks that are bringing tears to my eyes right now as I write this note, thinking about how special every one of you are in my life. I have seen many four generations of your families and feel that you are part of my family. I will continue to see most of you for many years but on a reduced schedule.
As you already know, I love to “visit” with you in addition to providing your eye care. I feel so grateful that you have made 35 years of professional life so fulfilling for me.
Please welcome with me Dr. Ann Martin to our wonderful team at Eye Central.
With big hugs to all,
