Eye Central: McLean, VA
Welcome to our McLean, Virginia office. McLean was the original founding location of Eye Central. With the advanced growth within the District of Columbia, our McLean office now functions as the smaller of our two locations. We are located within the Old McLean Village Business condominium complex. The office was located here in the early 1970’s and McLean has grown around us creating a maze of office buildings surrounding us.
It can be slightly confusing to locate us, so please don’t hesitate to call for directions if this website map is not clear enough to locate us. Our reception staff is well versed and ready to help you locate us. There is convenient parking onsite in our parking lot.
This office has been featured in local publications for its unique boutique style inventory. Due to the boutique nature of this location’s optical we do request appointments to get the undivided attention of our optical staff.
Meet Our Staff
Caroline Harper (left) and Fatima El-Tinay (not pictured) serve as our reception staff. They are the first point of contact for office communications. They will gladly answer any questions you have about your appointment needs.
They will also gladly take any contact re-order requests by telephone. We use automated technology to call you to announce the arrival of your eyewear products and to remind you of upcoming appointments. Alex Motley (right) serves as our insurance expert to file our insurance claims for our McLean patients. She directly files our routine vision claims “in-house” and prepares medical claims to be forwarded to DOCTOR’s CHOICE, which is our outside billing party for our “sick eye” visits.
Optical Lens & Frame Experts
Gary Goodsell (left) and Keris Andam (right) are glad to help find the perfect eyewear statement for whatever your concerns may be. Gary has over 25 years of experience in buying eyewear related products.
Both Gary and Keris have a well-known concept of optical fashion and trends. Couple this fashion sense with an understanding of superior lens options, and it becomes clear as to why Gary has been featured in local publications.
You are welcome to select frames immediately after your eye exam, but if you desire to return at a later time to select a frame, we do suggest an appointment with Gary or Keris.
Due to the intimate nature of this location, we also request a dispense appointment with our optical staff when your new eyewear arrives. Keris also serves as our contact lens instructor, as well as a technician for many specialty tests requested by the doctor.
